Echo Energy is proud to announce a $2,000 donation to Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma to help the community relief efforts during the Coronavirus pandemic. This donation will provide 16,000 meals to Oklahomans in need.
The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma – which has a network of 300 partner agencies across 53 counties – is working diligently to ensure no Oklahoman goes hungry during this pandemic. Their pantries have reported a 25% daily increase in new clients who have never sought assistance before, as well as a sharp rise of low-income senior clients who are in dire need of emergency food boxes. The food bank is purchasing food directly from manufacturers in order to maintain food provisions to children, seniors and families across the state.
Echo Energy is inviting employees and members of the community to give to the Regional Food Bank, and is currently matching employee donations to the organization. A gift to the Regional Food Bank can be made to RFBO.org/give or a $10 donation can be made by texting “Disaster” to 501501.
We hope others will join us in supporting the local community during this time. Together we will overcome this crisis.
